| Work for an exhibition in the Study Gallery, Poole - collaborative work with artists Antonia Phillips. Project originally tracked the separation between northern Finland and Kerala, where a third artist was working - hence the image of snow crystals on a bed of turmeric - but developed on the ground. |

| The creation of small ice installations was very satisfying - both casting ice overnight in whatever domestic containers could be found, and 'carving' ice with a small gas torch. Food colouring was used to inject vibrant colour into this pristine landscape. |

| Serendipity - carving ice with flame can produce a lens - to be pursued... Key image was printed as wallpaper and stuck onto gallery wall in two sections, bridging projected images; another time i would make this floor to ceiling rather than the 8 foot or so shown here. |
